OMG!

I knew I would like it when I ordered it, but I had no idea how beautiful it really was. It is much better than the picture! It is REALLY thick, made of high quality outdoor/indoor fabric. My only complaint is that it doesn’t have any ties, so I can’t tie it to the bench I have it on, but I would 100% recommend this product.

Thick, Comfortable, Heavy, and Fits my wicker loveseat perfectly!

I ordered the entire cushion set from Target via amazon. Took FOREVER to ship, but were gorgeous and very thick and comfortable. I found the matching outdoor fabric at my local Jo-ann fabric store and made pillows to match. They fit my wicker perfectly. Very happy!

Best Ever Log Rack Cover

I’ve never seen a log rack cover of such high quality–heavy duty material, great design and construction, easy to install despite being heavy. The only way you could have a cover more rugged than this one would be to build it from two-by-fours and plywood. This is a five star product.

Sturdy and user friendly

After spending numerous seasons fighting with, wrestling with, and pleading with my wood cover to just do its job, I finally broke down and spent the money on this quality cover. Now I’m just mad I didn’t do it sooner. Heavy duty material, secure 4-point attachment to the wood rack, and easy access to the wood make this a cover I’m truly looking forward to using. Go ahead, you won’t be sorry!

Great log holder cover!

This cover is so very well designed – I have no worries of wind taking off the cover.
And, our place gets a Lot of Strong wind. I’m looking forward to easy access in the winter, too.
The velcro flap holders are nice. Seems like a great quality product. Now, I need to order another one!

I purchased this flag from Amazon when I was decorating a teacher’s lounge in an elementary school. The teachers thought it was a great message. However, they thought they might draw a red circle around the word “don’t!” The flag is authentic! It is of good quality and is well made. And at a great price too! We were very pleased. After a friend saw it, she asked me to send the info to her and she ordered one for her son’s office. Commodore Perry would be proud!

Disappointing

As a garden ornament is is adequate.
Unfortunately, as far as it ‘illuminating’ it does not.
It is in full sun all day long and at night there is nothing
around it but a small landscape light and still it does not
glow. I called company and they said to move it to where it
would be in total darkness at night. Done. Still doesn’t work,
The ‘companion’ piece that we ordered was the Saturn Stake.
They tried to mail it to me two times but both times it broke
in transit and carrier just sent it back to Amazon. I decided
I’d had enough and choose not to try to reorder this one and
get my $ back as the first wasn’t glowing.

Lovely, but certainly not “illuminating”

This is lovely. It looks delightful in the garden. But, as a previous reviewer noted, it absolutely does not glow in the dark. Not even a little bit. Our garden receives full sunlight all day; at night it is completely dark. (We live in a rural area; there is no light from neighbors or other sources.) Given these conditions, if an item can glow in the dark, it should. Yet this most certainly does not.

I did try the old glow-in-the-dark test of bringing it into a closet (in the middle of the day, after several hours of very bright direct sunlight) and closing the door. The only thing that glowed was the old Timex I was wearing…

Buy this as a pretty lawn/garden ornament. Just do not expect it to glow in the dark at all.

Also, mine was packaged very well and survived shipping with no issues at all. It was well-protected, with a multitude of bubble wrap, air packs, packing peanuts, and filler paper — not to mention a box-within-a-box arrangement. I think the UPS truck would have had to actually run over the thing to do it any damage. I ordered from Amazon, so Amazon is to thank for most of the hyper-vigilant packaging — but, to be fair, the manufacturer’s packaging was quite adequate to begin with.

size of item Do not know if it illimuates yet

I cannot believe how small this top of the item is for price that I paid. I do not know if it evens illuminates yet for I just received it today and put in the fgarden Rediculous for the price.Also, the company has not gotten back to me about my comment and I sure they do not answer other peoples comments. What a shame. The packaging was not good because the box that it cam in was fully open. How can Amazon sell such a item.

Great for Apartments

I have this feeder placed right outside my window of my ground floor apartment. I originally got it for the cats’ entertainment, and am glad I did.

I originally had a feeder bell hanging from the second floor apartment’s balcony, but decided it wasn’t enough.

I purchased this feeder for the sparrows and used the cheapest bird feed available. After I switched to sunflower seeds only I am now getting sparrows, finches and starlings. The down side being that the perches were not designed for starlings so they have to reach around to one of the other holes to get their food.

Anymore, I can get 5 or so on it at once with two or three hanging out on the chain it hangs from waiting in line.

I really love this little feeder and have had it since December ’08. Never once had a problem with squirrels, but it may be because of the way I have it set up.

Practical more than ornamental.

I like to switch off my feeders at least once a week to do a thorough cleaning, and so I have a lot of extra feeders. This feeder is plastic and the bases, perches, and top are green.
While this is not the most solid feeder I’ve encountered, the price is right for my purposes. There are tons of really pretty, ornamental feeders on the market, but they cost more and I worry about breaking them. This one gets the job done, and is in a price range that I don’t have to worry about breaking it when I dismantle it for a more thorough cleaning. No one is going to mistake the feeder for a family heirloom and so you can be a little rough with it if need be, because seed almost always slips into the nooks and crannies of most feeders.

I can’t give it a higher rating, but will recommend it to people who have a similar routine to mine and want something that gets the job done, but that you can handle in a very practical manner. I say get the feeder that is most practical and let the birds bring the beauty.

Good price — and the birds love it

It’s sturdy, it’s inexpensive, and the smaller birds can poke their beaks right to the bottom of the feeder to get all of the seeds. (The last vertical feeder we had always had leftovers at the bottom that the birds couldn’t reach.) And the price is decent. A nice addition to the back yard.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND

We have been using these C&S Suet cakes for about three our four years now. We have ten to twelve suet baskets installed around and near our house; most in plan view, others rather hidden. Living in the middle of an isolated woodland area with many trees and much brush gives the birds plenty of room to establish their own territory.

We use the C&S brand first because the birds like the stuff. Of the many “flavors” they offer, we have not found one that the birds reject to any extent. I have watched rather closely and cannot tell a significant difference. Perhaps others may have a different experience and different observations. Secondly, this product can be used year round. It does not melt when the weather is hot, and we do have some hanging in the direct sun. Third, they do not seem to attract the insects that some brands do, nor to that have a bad odor, and fourth, the price of this product is extremely competitive compared to other brands. To be quite frank, I have tried many of the more expensive brands and cannot tell one bit of difference in them and the C&S brand. I might add that it is always available at local stores in our area which make it rather convenient.

We use the C&S holders and personally prefer the front loaders, i.e. the ones that have tension clips on the top and swing down. We have our holders mounted on trees in a solid fashion at various heights. We do use small staples to permanently attach the basket to the tree as we have found that once in a while raccoons will try to take the entire basket to where ever raccoons take things. C&S dose make a variety of suet baskets and a person needs to figure out which works the best in their particular situation.

We also use the baskets with the coated wider (no rust) and the smaller holes, as this seems to cut down on rodent pilferage…although I do not begrudges an occasional furry critter having a quick meal.

These cakes are primarily used by birds of the woodpecker tribe although, especially in the winder, we do have other species use them. We have a rather large woodpecker population near and around us.
