Birdbath

Lovely and Functional Birdbath

This bird bath replaces my similar, old one that was vandalized when neighbors (college students) had a “party” and some of their inebriated “guests” came onto my property and kicked the bottom of the aluminum bowl breaking and separating it from the iron base. At any rate, this bird bath seems to be a lot more heavy duty than my old one. Hopefully if someone tries to kick it again, it will break their toe instead of my birdbath! (I know, I’m baaaaad ) An interesting note, though, is that I decided to coat it with beeswax before putting it out and so far after a few weeks, the beeswax seems to have kept the algae from forming in the bowl.
